Growing Cosmetic uses of Botox®
Botox® has been in cosmetic use since it was approves in 2001 by Health Canada for treatment of frown lines. Since then Botox® has been used cosmetically in many areas of the face. In particular, Botox® has been used effectively in smoothing smoker’s lines that form vertically just above and/or below the lips. Botox® can also be used to smoothen chin dimples. Dr Solish’s expertise in Botox® injections allows him to use Botox® in more refined ways to lift the brow and shape eyebrows. Botox® can also be used to widen eyes in order to improve the shape of the eye. Dr Solish has also performed Botox® injections to shape the jaw muscles to improve facial contours and create a symmetrical look.
